All Aboard size guide
Find your fit before you pack.
Compare the flat measurements of a shirt you already love with the guide below. It is the simplest way to choose a comfortable size for the cruise, the coast and everywhere after.
Three easy steps
A better fit starts with a flat shirt.
Use a flexible tape measure and a similar shirt that already fits the way you like. Keep the fabric relaxed—do not pull or stretch it while measuring.
Lay it flat.
Choose a similar T-shirt or polo that fits well. Smooth it on a flat surface without stretching the fabric.
Measure half chest.
Measure straight across the garment from underarm to underarm. This is the flat width shown in every table below.
Measure the length.
Measure from the highest shoulder point beside the collar straight down to the bottom hem.
Adult sizing
Men's / unisex tees.
A rough reference for common classic-fit adult tees. Compare these garment measurements with a T-shirt you already own.
| Size | Half chest (cm) | Length (cm) | Best used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 46 cm | 71 cm | Smaller adult fit |
| M | 51 cm | 74 cm | Standard adult fit |
| L | 56 cm | 76 cm | More room through body |
| XL | 61 cm | 79 cm | Roomier adult fit |
| 2XL | 66 cm | 81 cm | Extra room through body |
| 3XL | 71 cm | 84 cm | Largest common reference |
Remember: half chest is the width of the shirt laid flat, not your body measurement. Small manufacturing variations are normal.
Women’s sizing
Women’s tees.
A rough reference for common women’s-cut tees. These are garment measurements, so compare them with a similar fitted or semi-fitted shirt.
| Size | Half chest (cm) | Length (cm) | Best used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 44 cm | 65 cm | Smaller women’s fit |
| M | 49 cm | 66 cm | Standard women’s fit |
| L | 54 cm | 69 cm | More room through body |
| XL | 59 cm | 71 cm | Roomier women’s fit |
| 2XL | 64 cm | 72 cm | Extra room through body |
| 3XL | 69 cm | 74 cm | Largest common reference |
Prefer a relaxed fit? Compare with a looser shirt or allow extra width rather than relying on the size letter alone.
Polo sizing
Cruise-ready polos.
A rough reference for common classic-fit polos. Compare with another polo rather than a tee, as collars, plackets and garment structure can change the fit.
| Size | Half chest (cm) | Length (cm) | Best used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 48 cm | 71 cm | Smaller polo fit |
| M | 53 cm | 75 cm | Standard polo fit |
| L | 58 cm | 77 cm | More room through body |
| XL | 64 cm | 80 cm | Roomier polo fit |
| 2XL | 69 cm | 83 cm | Extra room through body |
| 3XL | 74 cm | 84 cm | Largest common reference |
Polo tip: compare collar comfort and shoulder fit as well as the flat measurements when choosing your size.
Kids sizing
Young cruisers.
Youth size letters and numerical references vary between garments. Treat the number as an approximate reference and use a current favourite shirt for the most useful comparison.
| Youth size | Approx. size reference | Half chest (cm) | Length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 4 | 41 cm | 52 cm |
| S | 6–8 | 43 cm | 56 cm |
| M | 10–12 | 46 cm | 60 cm |
| L | 14–16 | 48 cm | 64 cm |
| XL | 18–20 | 51 cm | 67 cm |
Kids grow differently: numerical size and age references cannot guarantee fit. Measure a shirt that fits now, then allow the amount of growing room you prefer.
Toddler sizing
The littlest crew.
A rough reference for common toddler tees. Toddler labels are only a starting point—measuring a shirt that fits today is much more reliable than age alone.
| Toddler size | Approx. age reference | Half chest (cm) | Length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2T | Around 2 years | 28 cm | 38 cm |
| 3T | Around 3 years | 30 cm | 41 cm |
| 4T | Around 4 years | 33 cm | 43 cm |
| 5T | Around 5 years | 36 cm | 46 cm |
| 6T | Around 6 years | 38 cm | 48 cm |
Little cruiser tip: if the measured shirt sits between two references, allow for comfort and any growing room you want.
Choose your feel
The number matters. Your preferred fit matters more.
Two people with the same measurements can prefer completely different fits. Use the tables as a comparison, then choose the amount of room that feels right to you.
Closer fit.
Choose the table measurement closest to a fitted shirt you already like. Check both width and length before deciding.
Relaxed cruise fit.
Compare with a looser favourite and allow extra half-chest width. If you sit between two references, sizing up usually adds more ease.

Sizing answers
Measure once. Pack with confidence.
The practical details customers ask most before choosing a cruise shirt, polo or kids size.
No. The tables are a general guide. Garment styles, cuts, suppliers and production batches can vary, so check any product-specific information and measure a similar shirt you already own.
Lay the shirt flat without stretching it. Measure straight across from underarm to underarm for half chest, then from the highest shoulder point beside the collar to the bottom hem for length.
No. Half chest is the width of the garment laid flat. Doubling it gives an approximate full garment circumference, but that is still a shirt measurement—not a body measurement.
Let your preferred fit decide. Choose the closer reference for a neater fit, or allow extra width and consider the larger size if you prefer a more relaxed feel.
No. Age and numerical references are approximate because children grow differently and garment labels vary. Measuring a shirt that fits now is the best starting point.
Absolutely. Contact All Aboard Clothing with the product name, the size you normally wear and whether you prefer a closer or relaxed fit.
